Someone please explain!

I feel like I may have over estimated my chances at admission. I'm sweating bullets, and really wish I had applied to some more "target" and/or "safety" schools. Then again, I would have no problem attending any school that I applied to, so maybe that's key also.

I've become a time thief at work! In between my work I'll read a post or two on grad cafe, cyburbia, or check my email. I feel like I'm looking at porno. Everytime I hear footsteps coming my way I scramble to minimize! I still get all my work done and then some, I just didn't realize how much this has consumed me though.

I was originally interested in applying to business school. I took a GMAT prep course, visited a few schools (across the country), took the GMAT, then decided I wanted to do urban planning instead. I bought a GRE prep book, visited a school for UP (across the country), took the GRE, sent out 9 sets of transcripts from 3 different schools, GRE scores to 9 schools, overnighted an extra copy of my personal statement from LA to Boston. Add all that up and it's probably over $3k. Then of course all the destruction it caused in my personal life :wink: Academia is a bitch

Hahah...dude! I totally remember that (UCLA '06). It was all over the princeton review (what is now xoxohth) msg boards. I swear it seemed like it was true.

Some of you guys have great taste in music. I've been listening to Pavement, No Age, Fleet Foxes, Glasvegas, Matt & Kim (although I'm over the last two already). In addition to my usual rounds of Clash, Bowie, Smiths.
