No interview. No rejection. No nothing. Is it normal to go this late without hearing anything at all? I feel like after not getting an interview I should have been rejected by now and I assume I have been rejected. I've already received rejection letters from 2 other schools who didn't interview me all the way back in early February. So what's the deal? I doubt I got wait listed without an interview. That just doesn't make sense to me.

Probably go to the gym for a bit and take out my frustrations, then man up and figure out what I should do next to get to where I want to go.

Do MA programs typically not still interview though?

I mean I'll be applying again for sure. But how do I make my application better? I know one thing I'll be doing is applying for some terminal masters programs this next year because I think lack of experience was a bit of problem for PhD programs to deal with. I'm also out of school and most schools give research volunteer positions to their current students in my experience. My GRE was a 1230 so I don't feel like I need to take it again. I hear that sometimes people will contact the professors that rejected them and ask for advice with their application for next year. Has anyone here ever done that before? Would it be ok to ask now or should I wait for everything to calm down a bit for them? For everyone else who has already been rejected, what are your plans for the future? Advice from anyone in this situation, or previously in this situation is appreciated.

In. Applied to 3 schools. 2 rejections, 1 more to go. No interviews. Feels bad man. Probably should have applied to some more places. Will be doing it much differently for next year when I try again.

Quick question for those who have been accepted for an interview by phone. When your professor called did any of you have the number come up as unavailable on your phone? I'm just wondering cause yesterday I temporarily lost my phone and got 3 calls from some unavailable number, no messages were left. Naturally, as Im pretty paranoid, I now assume this was a professor and I just blew it because my phone wasn't on me. What sucks is I can't even call back the number because it's unavailable.

One of the places I applied didn't begin the process until January 17th, so I'm wondering what is the typical range schools begin their process. This school is my top choice and I haven't heard anything from them yet (no interview or anything) so I'm just hoping that maybe this is a later starting date than normal and everything is pushed back in comparison to other schools.
