  1. Scratch that, decision was issued today. I'm in
  2. That en passante aspect is awesome. I've been finding that NYU tends to let their applicants know more towards mid-march rather than sooner, however this is entirely dependent on the program and date the application was submitted. Last year, Steinhardt let most of their addmited students know around March 19th...
  3. Very nice amalgamation of questions. These are excellent for many aspects of the interview process and can even be used, to some extent, for intern/job applicants as well!
  4. I agree. It's not wholly official until you see an acceptance letter in writing from the Dean or the Admissions Department. A little extra work experience always helps and besides, those text books are expensive! Give it a few more weeks if you can
  5. Based on last year's stats, masters applications may start hearing something back from TC as early as March 5th. Gah!
  6. At least we can assume that your program's website is up to date. The program I'm applying to hasn't been updated since 2009... -__- ...but supposedly it's still a good department
  7. dolphin kick (swimming technique )
  8. That might depend on how transparent your prospective schools are about their admissions process. If possible, review the application site/sheet that you applied with and check to see if there is information about decision notification there. You can also try to find this information by reading over the site's Terms and Conditions (trust me, you find out a lot of information by reading through all that nonsense) One of my schools, for example, specifies on their admissions website and in their application packet how they go about notifying students of their decisions. This school let me know when they had received my application and all supporting materials and continues to post updates regarding the admissions process. Another school, I applied to specifies nothing and doesn't even confirm if they received my application; so it really depends on the school you're concerned with.
