Does the SAIS IDev program stack up ahead of MPA-ID in your estimation?

I just got in off the MPA/ID waitlist on Friday. Deciding between that and SAID ID with some $. Have to make a decision by the 28th.

It seems to me that if you're a native English speaker, and Economics undergrad, the most sensible option is to study, take the waiver exams, and skip pre-term. Thoughts?

I don't see how you can ever justify that sort of debt when another good program is offering you such a package

Just got accepted to MIA but no mention of funding. Does that definitively mean no fellowship offer?

Does anyone know if the funding doled out so far is just for fellowships? Or is there a need based aid component as well?

Waitlisted MPA/ID and waitlisted WWS. Anyone else in the same boat? Just got an aid offer from SAIS though so not all bad news today. Stats are 680v 790q 6.0 AW, 3.65gpa from top liberal arts school. 2 years consulting/investment banking experience in Latam.
