Anyone else that is unable to focus at work today?...

According to their twitter account, WWS will release decisions tomorrow. Which school are you waiting for?

I am sorry, that sounds like a nightmare. Just as I was about to email admissions (one hour ago) I received a rejection email as well. The online application has not been updated. I don't quite know what to make of it.... Anyway, happy that this whole process is soon over (the last school I applied to will announce the decisions tomorrow)

However, someone did just post a rejection (dated March 8). I wonder what that means...

Yeah, I am not expecting anything else than a rejection. However, I am very eager to get this whole process over with, so that I can start evaluating my options and move on to the next step.

Will Ph.D. decisions be released this week too?

Is anyone still waiting to hear back from Berkeley? Or has anyone already heard back from the school? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone wanting to share their thoughts on Ph.D. funding in general? I have received a couple of admission offers, but am not entirely sure of what constitutes a good financial aid package. Hence, I do not know whether I should try to push for more aid, or whether I should be satisfied with what the various schools have offered.

I got an unofficial acceptance on 2/11, and received the official acceptance and funding information this morning.

This waiting drives me crazy...

Hey AL2013, I have only heard from Cornell (yes, by email on 2/11) and Duke (No, 2/11). I am still waiting for Chicago, WWS, GSPP, Ford, MIT, and HKS (which presumably is a rejection given that 2 people have already noted acceptances in the result section). With respect to the Ford School, I think that decisions are released at different times depending on which specialization you have picked. I applied for the Policy/Econ program, and judging from last years results, those decisions come out much later than the Policy/Sociology ones. And even for these different programs, it doesn't look like the school sends out all decisions at the same time.

Does anyone know how the admissions committee at HKS operate? Do they send out all acceptances / rejections at the same time? A few people have posted acceptances on gradcafe today, so I was wondering: if you have not heard anything yet, should you consider it a rejection?

Polywonk: They said that they would send out decisions within the next few weeks.
