Hello everybody I am still waiting from CUNY comp lit, and rutgers italian studies....it's weird such a long wait and probably it's not hiding any good message however the hope is the last one to die.......but I don't know what to do to be honest!!! Any suggestion? I don't eant to email because I like thinking they are still deciding on my application but I probably think they decided and simply could not be bothered to inform me!!! what do you think you are going to do with those UNIS?

Hello averybody, at this stage for those of you (hopefully not many) who did not get into any program should start hinking about reapplying next year. If you'd like to keep in touch and give to each other suggestion and support this thread is for us. I believe that all of us are a bit annoyed in doing all again and supporting each other can be very useful! C'mon then ;-)!!!

Thank you very much for saying, but I don't know wheter I am on a wait list for rutgers as I have simply not heard anything. Is it possible to defer admission from a University from one year into another? do you usually have to say it before accepting or after? in this case what happen your slot will be frozen or given to somebody else for this year?

I undesrtand this but I am also wrried for next year application as my fiancé she got admitted and don't know now if going as chances to join her next year in NEw York are few....we are desperate at the moment!

I would tell anyone just in case, Obviously would write different emails for those school who rejected you, and those who accepted you and those who stated they could not accept you due to a lack of funding! I wish i was in your situation

Has anyone heard anything from Rutgers Italian studies? Is it a rejection even if they did not show any decision on the online application form? Do they usualy get back to students? any experience direct or indirect is welcome thank you for your help!

I emailed the department and I have been told that all the students who got offered admission look like they want to accept the offer from NYU, and some of them have already accepted. So for us waitlisters I am afraid there are not many possibilities this year! :(

Hello everyone I have applied to CUNY comp Lit too italian specialization but haven't heard anything yet. Unfortunately as I have seen 5 admissions plus someone else who wrote about an email he/she recieved in which there was written tha they admitted few students so I believe the game is over......apparently over 100 applicants however how is it possible they took decision to admit without even considering all application received? In any case good luck to all of us!!!!! and let's keep in touch!

Hi, I have applied to another department Italian studies and I am aware they are separated departments however, also in my case I haven't heard anything and have not seen anyone posting here about admission or rejection. Don't know what to say or think to be honest! let's keep fingers crossed.....!

hello everybody , 3 people have already posted acceptance to the program I believe unfortunately that this is it because I would not expect they accept more than 4 at themost what do you think? ANy other hope or it is all over?

I would like to join the italian specialization program!

To ISIS, where in the application form can I find any news available i have only a resume of my application and the last two line says for the department and finish with a weird code TROK and after where i believe there should be something written is blank. For everyone I haven't heard anything either and and I am a bit hopeless :-( don't know what ti think and liked the program very much I would have opted for the italian specialization! P.S. I am applying for the Ph.D. though

Hi everybody, The italian studies community is smaller that many but still would be nice to hear something by those who got accepted or refused from any University.
