I was not aware of that website, but thank you for the resource. I am not too entirely sure if I want to teach English in South Korea because I am not sure how I am as a teacher, my ultimate goal is to conduct research, however I know this is a good alternative if I want to spend a year there. Thank you for the resource. It's getting closer everyone, and I'm getting increasingly more nervous especially after that bit of information about notifications being sent tomorrow. Hey everyone~ I'm waiting right here along with all of you and I am extremely nervous, mainly because I don't have surefire plans after graduating with a Psychology degree this Spring. I applied for a research grant to South Korea, and the Fulbright would be an extremely beneficial experience for me, because my overall goal is to become a professor of Psychology and specialize in cross-cultural developmental research. I'm also extremely intrigued by South Korean culture, so not only would this experience be beneficial to my career, but it would be an amazing personal experience. I applied for the Critical Language Scholarship for South Korea, and unfortunately got rejected, but I am holding my hope out for the Fulbright. Reading posts on this forum has helped me through the waiting process, and I hope that everyone here will be able to receive a grant, because you all sound passionate about your application. Hello everyone! My name is Daisy, I am new to the forum here and it's nice to meet all of you! I look forward to interacting with everyone. I am planning to apply for full grant in South Korea for the 2012-2013 year. As of now, I am not worrying about the application too much because I still need to get through finals next week in school. However, I will spend the remainder of the summer hard at work for my proposal. If anyone who got the full grant for South Korea last year sees this post: first, congratulations and second, it would be much appreciated if you PM or e-mail me because I have some questions about securing an affiliation - I'm not too sure how to go about that. If anyone else has any tips, please let me know.
