Wow. This is amazing! I love how he noted DROOL LOL

I'm living in London right now and was wondering if anyone knew about any funding/scholarships that are still open and accepting applications from non-US applicants? Or generally any scholarships youre aware of, this would be a good thread to post in. Would really appreciate the insight.

Really bizarre. Perhaps ask for some feedback?

Interesting observation. I picked Econ Development. A lot of MPA admits in the results forum.

First useful post you've made. thanks.

Out at SIPA too! OK though, I have some fantastic options. Good luck/congrats to everyone!

Take the Money or the Reputation - SIS vs. SIPA and SAIS

I blame Revolution for all of this. Irony in his name -
I'm trying not to care but it doesnt seem to be working out too well.

How to approach the topic of asking for more funding?
Clay Made replied to Pinkman's topic in Government Affairs Forum
I think its worth a shot. However, I would not quantify how much money you actually need. I think that approach is destined to fail. Be grateful and polite and you should be OK. -
OH MY GOD. WOW. You're something, aren't you?
-
I might call them as I havent heard anything today via email or in the app portal.
-
That I did lol..thanks, I tend to avoid their blog! Too much anxiety!!!

Really? Lol not sure how it correlates but good to know! Anyone else making a go at this? -
I hope!!! Just worried that it said my application was complete weeks after the deadline. Hopefully thats not the issue.

I'm confused. An exit opp should surely mean a better job. How does business school equal better?

I think I might try the same thing with SIPA if I get in and dont get enough aid. -
I think thats a little harsh. SAIS is definitely on the level of HKS and WWS. HKS is more domestic focused anyway so I doubt it will do better then SAIS in the private sector.

Congrats to everyone! Why am I sitll waiting?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Good to know but I figured I'd give him a little info as to what i was aware of. After all, he could be my classmate in the fall.

I'd call them then. So they cant evade your questions. Only so much can be learnt through email

In my experience, none of the programs have been that forthcoming with those lists. Aside from Fletcher.

My interactions with them have been great. They're helpful and attentive to my situation. I suppose if you phrase your questions in a tone even slightly similar to your posts here, I can see why they're dismissive. The answer to these questions have been posted here numerous times. I think I saw someone post that no firms recruit on campus but its all about networking. Why not do some research and reach out to current students or alums yourself? Everything doesnt have to be afforded to you. You keep mentioning business school. Why did you apply to SAIS? I'm sure you could have taken a few classes whilst a b school to satisfy your need for the IR experience if that may be the reason. It seems like you have far too much expectations from the program and expect it to be a substitute for an MBA program. SAIS is a great school and I'm sure you'd have a great experience if you'll change your attitude about it. Sorry if this harsh but I've just gone through your last dozen or so posts and it doesnt make you look good I'm afraid.
