  1. Housing assignments tomorrow! Anyone know what time they usually go up?
  2. I was not able to log in that way either. The way I did it (in chrome) was: On the award page, right click and select inspect element -> go to the console tab -> paste code in there and voila
  3. Relevant: http://static.fjcdn.com/pictures/You+really+think+someone+would+do+that+.+Just+go+on_981b71_3201562.jpg
  4. Whoever was worried that we wouldn't have enough pages in this thread can rest since it looks like we are going to have to do a repeat of tonight.
  5. To those of you who are actually refreshing fastlane, my hat's off to you. It'd be funny if all of us were just refreshing this thread and we missed it by 30 minutes or something.
  6. The possibility of getting results for Hertz and NSF in the span of a few days should make this an.. exciting.. weekend.
  7. Thanks for the response. I'll probably end up running into you at the Stanford visit day. Good luck with your decision.
  8. A quick question for any of the EE Princeton admits. I received my rejection but am a little confused since the title of the email was "Your princeton admission." Out of curiositiy, what was the title of your guys' acceptance emails?
  9. Received official admission email today. Awarded 3 quarter departmental fellowship. Had previously received unofficial acceptance over phone from POI.
  10. Submitted! One step closer to being done with this whole process.
  11. Anyone else who applied get an interview? I'm not really sure how to prepare or if it's even possible to do so.
  12. Last minute help request from everybody. My field of research is speech synthesis, so it's going to fall on Tuesday with all of the other CS stuff. I'm sure not where to put it though, it doesn't fall directly under natural language processing although it uses elements of it. It seems like I could go with the other route but there seems to be a taboo against doing that. Thoughts?
  13. V: Range: 750-800 Actual: 167 (98%) Q: Range: 750-800 Actual: 166 (94%) AW: 5.5 (96%) A little disappointed about quant considering I'm applying to top engineering schools. At least all this is finally over!
  14. Habitually is an understatement. Although its faster to load this thread than check so I've resigned myself to just refreshing this thread. I figure people will post here within 5 minutes of them going up.
  15. Ahh, you saw right through my post My advisor essentially has been telling me for the past year that there's no excuse for someone looking to do an EE Ph.D. at a top school not to get an 800 on quant. So obviously, I sort of care if that 750-800 is a 750 and not an 800 lol. It would be nice to know if someone has gotten a higher score range. As for expecting the scores, I try not to expect things, just tried to stay relaxed.
  16. Some more numbers for everyone: I took 5 manhattan tests and nothing else. My Manhattan Scores were: V: 770, 730, 710, 690, 730 Q: 790, 800, 800, 790, 800 Took the actual GRE 2 days ago. V: 750-800 Q: 750-800 Verbal felt similar but I felt like I was doing worse because of the pressure not necessarily because of difficulty. Reading comps were easier than Manhattan. Quant was definitely easier than Manhattan, most of all in the time constraint. Data visualizations or whatever they are called with graphs were much much simpler than Manhattan.
