thanks so much! I'd love it if you can critique my work if you think there are any issues you think I may be questioned so I'nm porepared, I understand youre probably really busy though. I'm applying through Fulbright so I had to choose 4 MFA courses (I'm from the UK) and have really been looking for places which have opportunities for funding for international scholars. I'm also getting married and would like to be somewhere where my partner would enjoy, with a busy life and coastal ideally too. good luck! I'd love to know what to expect!

does anyone else have google analytics? Its quite interesting as you can see the exact location of people viewing your site, and I can assume certain times some schools may be accessing, although its guessing really!

Hello Does anyone know roughly when we can begin to hear bacl from Universities as I'm away travelling as part of a project for a month and have limited access to the internet during this time!

Hi Paintcutter, I'm afraid I don't know enough to comment really, I know they are a respected school, I would expect that if you wanted to know more about how an artist like Emin might teach/tutor/lecture it would be best to contact them. I studied my BA outside of London and we had visiting lectures from artists from all areas as well as photography. Visiting artists also often led tutorials with students whose work related to their own work, so maybe its similar? Also depends what you mean by serious? I expect studying in the UK is very different from the US, which is why I've chosen to study in the US. I have a pretty limited knowledge of areas outside photography but the most successful people I know personally have gone on to study MFAs in RCA, Goldsmiths, GSA and the Slade. Sorry I can't be more help, I';ve been researching MFAs where you are rather than where I am!

Hi, I'm from the UK and also applying for MFA (although in US) and I've also applied to SVA. If I were to study in London I'd apply to almost all of those and also depending on what you want, you might want to think about Glasgow school of art MFA fine art practice? Glasgow is a great place to live and GSA has a great reputation. Good luck, maybe we'll end up on the same course!

I'm having similar problems, which course? I'm on 600 words, assume +10% over is acceptable but really should have it down to 450. Mine is a mix of artist statement and statement of intent, anyone know if I should go all statement of intent?

Hi Paintcutter! this info is really useful! I'm not applying to USC but I will be applying to Cal Arts for photography. Hav you found any new information regarding their program? I'm an international student from the UK. I was interested in their teaching assistantships and was wondering if its also best not to mention teaching in the statement of purpose for CalArts. Hope you can help!
