Gotcha! Well, I'm thinking that tomorrow is the day. I'm keeping everything I can cross-crossed. And I think I'll have my husband do the same...it's just for one day I'm sorry your news wasn't what you wanted. -

E-mailed what? I thought they went out USPS? I haven't gotten anything-postal mail or email. What now? -

I'm going a little nuts...remember the poster that said that University of Wisconsin-Madison was sending out their last 3 letters yesterday? (and one of them belonged to the poster) Well, I suppose if I don't have one of the 2 left in my mailbox tomorrow, we all know what that means Who else was waiting to hear from them? Has anyone else called them? -

I applied to SDSU. I wonder if we should be hearing soon...I think 2nd or 3rd week of March...Good luck! -
Love it. Thanks for the laugh Feels good to laugh now, you know?
-
Thanks I would have felt like that too...I should have had my husband do that for me (since he picked it up)
-
It was a renters insurance letter. SO bummed. I'm thinking you are right

I'm in the same boat...

Grocery store coupons etc...And my husbands car magazine. I also looked through the pages to make sure there wasn't something better in there

Was asked to interview, but in another language...

Is this for Gallaudet? I almost applied there, but decided against it (since I'm more of the oral-route). I've heard wonderful things about their program and I bet it will be a great experience! If it's not for Gallaudet then disregard...and good luck! I'm sure you'll do great, just as long as you practice what you know and remember-be confident in it as well! -
The waves included both rejections and acceptances and I think maybe a wait list or 2...I might be confusing those with other schools though-since you know, I am CRAZY! Well, I'm still holding out hope, since this is my first choice as well. Good luck! I really hope we hear some good news this week!

While I agree with you, I'm still nervous from one school that has been sending out waves of decisions- 1st one a few weeks ago, then the 2nd one a week or so ago. Still, I've heard nothing. I really don't want to have to call to find out bad news. The idea/fact that some schools just don't send everyone out letters/emails/decisions is just so cruel. Can't they be on top of this stuff so we don't have to have implied rejections? (also, what exactly denotes an implied rejection anyway...?) I'm just so grumpy over this whole process right now. I need some good news

Well, of course this makes me feel a million times better. Now as long as it's actually for me and not something for my husband! Thanks

Agreed-I didn't need a proctor either, and I imagine my experience would have been a lot different otherwise! -
Wow, I had no idea. I'm not a spectacular person (in other words, not a star #1 awesome student that they would want to make sure they get) but I suppose it could happen. The way I'm looking at it is, they wouldn't send a rejection letter certified. I sure hope I'm thinking in the right direction...
-
I don't even know what to think anymore...today I came home to a notice that they had tried to deliver a certified letter. Is it even possible a school that I've applied to sends out decisions via certified mail? My husband and I aren't expecting anything, so of course that's my first reaction/thought (but so expensive). What do you all think? Has anyone heard of that before? I might just be going crazy...

I took one class from USU-and really enjoyed it (and it was organized well). -
OMG this is now going to be my fear. In addition to the obvious. As if I needed something else to obsess over...
-
Wait-some people don't get any response at all? What kind of cruel treatment is that?! Don't they know how sensitive and fragile we are?
-
Rejects, Admits, Wait lists, but what about me?

I'd just like to say that I'm in the same boat. And it's really freaking me out (of course I don't want to let it, but I do). I just don't know what to think when I see admits and rejections a few weeks ago...then nothing...then a few more admits. And it's my first choice school, so I have extra anxiety -

So do you think it's bad/good/indifferent (lets face it, nothing is indifferent when dealing with getting into grad school) that we haven't heard yet? Let me know as soon as you hear something!
