    I lived in one of the apartments on Hamlin, and that was a perfect place (~8-minute walk to tech, nice area, nice apartment, close enough to campus but far enough to feel not so "in the bubble"). A lot of my friends also lived in some apartments further south along Clark. Those were pretty nice, but they were more expensive, I believe. Hamlin was located more in the residential area while Clark was around all the shops and eateries (closer to the music school, too).

    I heard back from them on the 16th of Feb. I am applying to STEP-Elementary, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with your not hearing back yet. Maybe Secondary hears back later for whatever reason? I'm sure you will hear back by this-coming week though!

    Hi mcvcm! That is pretty far for you!... basically from coast to coast. What other progams are you considering? And from what you know, what about STEP makes it seem like a "unique and strong" program to you? And what initially led you to apply there? These are questions I asked myself as well, but I'd like to see other people's perspectives. Btw, I am also considering STEP-Elementary (it is one of my top two choices currently).

    I'm still waiting to hear back from Vandy's HDC program and HGSE's PSP. It's surprisingly not been a problem keeping my mind off the wait. I guess that's the good thing about feeling swamped all the time, lol! In the beginning, I also figured, if I didn't get in anywhere with reasonably affordable offers, I have my current job to keep me going, so it's not the end of the world. That's not to say I don't worry about it from time to time, out of the blue.

    Hello! I was wondering if anyone else is considering STEP. I would like to chat with prospectives or anyone who has experience with the program. I might visit the campus, if I'm able to scrounge up some money. Hope to hear from you (whoever you may be) soon!
