I had the same thing happen to me. I found admissions easy to work with, though. I would like to know, though.

Anyone else NOT hear from BU yet? I am starting to get impatient....

Update: they had mixed me up with another student of the same name who had attended a school I went to. All is fixed. . Moral: don't be afraid to ask!

I got into another school last night. (w00t). However, they are saying my GPA was below their minimum. There is no way my goa was what they are calculating it as, I contacted graduate admissions. Has this hapened to anyone else? Am I flipping my hat over nothing (I'll be on academic probation if I go there, but get off if I keep a 3.0)?

One program I e-mailed, and was told they were running late. Another I e-mailed and I was told to try next week. I tried next week, and was told they were still out.

At Smith, you could get a placement (2nd year) outside Western MA, right? I might lean towards Dener if it's cheaper.

I am pretty certain I will need loans beyond my stafford loans. Is there any reason I should go with a private loan (I'm looking at Aaa) vs. a graduate plus loan, Hypothetically, a PLUS loan would have the potential to be forgiven (not banking on it at all, though)

No decision has been reached at this time. But, people on the results board have results.

I e-mailed them two weeks ago, and haven't heard anything. Still "no decision has been reached" on their site.

Working at my current job...

I had e-mailed the office to check on my status. They reported that the were inundated with applications and it will be between a couple of weeks and mid-March. FYI

I know! I actually just sent out two "when will I hear from you" e-mails out to schools. Another school said to check in with her Wednesday-I'm counting down the minutes,

I am now stoked for pen shopping this summer. I am a rollerball girl, but really need to try sharpie pens.

Congrats! I'm in the same boat-BU told me Sunday that one of my LOR's is incomplete.

I had a few interviewers who kept on flaking out on me regarding their sending in my recs/had tech issues. I had the worst time getting a few transcripts to schools.

I chose the MSW path for much the same reasons. I figure that if my private practice doesn't work out, an MSW gives me more mobility. That said, a friend's roomate went to the Lesley LMHC program and loved it.

Simmons, who already let me into their program:)! I had been looking forward to going back to Northampton (I went to Smith undergrad), but now I'm more excited about the fact that I most likely will be staying in Boston.
