I have a reference who only wrote a letter for one school for me. I have been rejected by this school, but gotten into others. Do I let him know that now, or wait until I know wher I am going for sure?

Wow, I am embarassed to admit I did not know Westfield State had a program. I would have checked it out, oh well. I am only applying to programs in MA because I want to practice/get licenced/build a network in MA. I applied for Smith'searly decision in early December, got everything in by the deadline.

I was rejected.

I applied to a state school as well as several private schools. Not going into too much debt is a large priority for me. That said, as it seems like private schools give some scholarships, I am waiting to see.

Woohoo! There goes my concentration all Tuesday, ha.

What ya mean, no one in my field has heard anything today on the results page? A post from three years ago tells me... My mail carrier switched routes and now my mail comes after I leave for work. Ugh

I like GradCafe, but I had a moment earlier this week. A school said my decision was mailed. Given that last year's results had acceptances being called, I was sure I got rejected. Then I got home...and I got in to the school.

Just got into Simmons! No info on $$, but I am so excited....

Anyone else applying early? Provided all is in, I am. I have wanted to go to Smith School for Social Work since I was a teenager, so I am flipping out a little at the fact I could know this time next month if I'm going there.

Oh, sorry for the confusion, I meant the transcripts are being mailed to me, rather than the school.

Preface: Yes, I know how slow the mail is around the holidays but: Anyone else have transcripts that seem to be taking their sweet time getting there? One school in particular seems to be taking its time (one program asks that I mail the transcripts/LORs to them together, so they are heading back to me). I called and had it re-sent, but argh. Is it uncouth to contact programs that do not have the info online to see if they have your transcripts?
