I also received news that I did not get the Special Collections Cataloging internship - I am still waiting on news from Vocabulary. "Warmest good wishes for your future success".

Anybody heard yet - the suspense may actually harm me! ?

You know the anxiety is kicking in when you end up on a message board hoping to see anyone has had positive news! May they hire us all, because in this pandemic world/economy we could use that extra year of hands-on experience!

I will definitely let you know - I think because we both haven't heard anything that there is still some promise! I hope that we are both placed and get to be part of the same internship cohort this upcoming year

@blueskies12 I applied as well. I had an interview with GRI Special Collections in late February and with GRI Vocabulary in mid-March. They both told me I would hear back sometimes in mid-April by mail... AHHhhhH the anticipation. Best of luck! :)

lady rainicorn, I am also planning to visit Rutgers on the 13/14/15 of the month. I am wondering where you are staying, etc? Did they put you up with a grad student or suggest a nearby hotel/offer to get you from the airport?

any word from: VCU, Hunter, or UCLA (besides the one interview, which is pretty abnormal from what I understand)

Yes, and I just rechecked my status online- only reflects that it was submitted, not that a decision has been made... I was under the impression that the program would review all applicants at once because of it's program structure... they probably update the website in rounds, and I should be expecting that rejection soon I got really excited a few weeks ago when they contacted me asking about a reference too. Good luck at your UPenn interview, it is a really good program.

Does your status on their website reflect your rejection? I have not heard from them regarding a decision and their website does not reflect one for me either....

Seriously. WHERE ARE ALL THE ANSWERS? I just want to hear it, even if it is not good news it will put my mind to rest!

Got a phone call this evening accepting me to Rutgers for Sculpture! (HELL YES!)

haven't heard yet from anywhere, see that people have been hearing from Northwestern and Rutgers(in sculpture) starting to feel kinda anxious. BLECH.

Wow, totally in love with 'Empty House' and the hand colored prints of 'Reliquary of the Jawbone of St. Anthony'. I think that the use of religious imagery to make a statement about our relationships with history and religion within todays techno-fueled cultural mindset could be really interesting, if that is what you are going for here though i am sure that you have some other aim as well... especially with the combination of prints in your 'altar to the gods of printmaking' where it really feels tongue in cheek. The work looks wonderful, the recent prints being (technically) much stronger than the dear deer series, i would love to know more about what was driving you to make the prints. I have no doubt that you would get into one of your schools of choice. May I ask why you did not apply to University of Iowa?

I had my interview for Tyler Sculpture mid February, from what i understood they were finishing up their interviews this past weekend (16 interviews to fill 4-5 spots) and that we would hear sometime within the next few weeks. but, i check my online status way too often, hoping to see their decision there before i hear it via an email or letter in the mailbox.

Nervously waiting to hear back from Tyler, Sculpture. (My interview went okay, i felt AWFULLY SHAKEN afterwords-like got to the airport 5 hours early because i couldn't concentrate on anything but being hella nervous- but everyone i talked to said it sounded like it didn't go badly at all.) anybody heard back yet?
