i used to check all the time, now i just sit back and wait for them....i feel that at this point if the schools aren't polite enough to me (keeping me updated), why should i worry & fret over who gets in/who doesn't. my worrying doesn't change anything. it sucks though...putting all that time, effort and everything into something and it doesn't really pan out the way you want (crying in some dark corner with Matt Damon on my left, Eddie Murphy in front facing me, and Osama Bin Laden on my right -- Matt & Osama are hugging me mad tight and wiping my tears lol...pls keep in mind that i'm a guy...with a gf lmao grad school apps really made me nuts this year)

idk...i feel i messed up on my SOP...i said stuff about wanting to join d work force/get some exp for ~10yrs, then retire to pursue a career in academia; also talked about their students that won presentation awards (i won a couple in undergrad)...saying i wanted to continue their legacy, etc....i feel i messed it up somehow...sucks
