  1. That's pretty small. They don't have to be print quality, but they need to be able to see what's going on in them. A max dimension of 1024px is usually what they ask for.
  2. Phew. She spelled it wrong four times and we were joking about it because she doesn't like Toronto, so it said "Toronot". We thought she fixed it but then I got it home and...
  3. Almost all mine have to be mailed instead of uploaded. I'm going to be spending a lot on expresspost.
  4. Had a nap and woke up panicking about my applications. Better get cracking!

  5. Also double check that you are sending them the required number. York wants two copies for some reason, etc. Does anybody know if it will matter that the registrar spelled "Toronto" wrong on one of my transcript packages? I'll call on monday, but...
  6. 24. I finished my undergrad this past May, and am applying in the fall, so I'll be 25 when school starts.
  7. I think most American schools do, but I haven't seen one Canadian school that does. Thought about applying to a UC but boyfriend wouldn't be able to get a visa, so to Ontario or Manitoba I go. One of them doesn't even accept credit cards, you have to send a cheque! Good thing I'm a luddite...
  8. Oo, exciting! I have been wanting to look at some new artists! Totally bookmarking this forum. Here's me: http://www.lindsayjoy.ca/
  9. None of the schools I'm applying to do waivers. But I counted the business days on a calendar and realized it was just under a week, plus holidays since I'd deposited the money (in a town I usually don't bank in, but was just there for the holidays). So hopefully I can do it on Monday. Random question I didn't see in the forums but maybe didn't look hard enough: What do you do when the school doesn't want an artist statement, just a statement of purpose? Should I combine my artist statement that I've been labouring over with the statement of purpose in some way?
  10. Gah! I didn't have money for applications until Xmas so I put it all on my credit card so there'd be room to pay the fees. I did that on the 30th and my bank statement still doesn't say I have the credit. I have paid 1/4 fees(that one had an online recc form) and need to pay the one where the recommenders mail directly or they'll have these random reference letters that they won't know what to do with. Do you think it's a big deal? I can't pay some other way because I am really broke.
