I live on disability, and only had the money to apply to one program for Fall 2015.
I recently got a credit card. Yay! I had been using my bank card.
This was kind of a big deal because of my limited income and bankrupcy in 2010.
If I don't get into the only program I've applied to, next application season (Fall 2016) I'll use my new credit card to apply to more than one program.
Anyone else in the same or similar boat?
Thanks!

Where off-campus do you live, and what are your housing conditions? Do you get your own room/studio, is it walking distance from campus, do you take a bus, or do you drive a car?
Thanks!

Hi, I plan to attend Riverside starting Fall 2015. I am physically disabled, I was planning to get my own room in an apartment in Bannockburn Village. From Bannockburn, it's a 0.5 mile walk (with a cane) to my department's building (Computer Science & Engineering). I do not own a car.
Anyone have an opinion on Bannockburn Village?
Thanks!

Thanks, I'll keep checking. Just FYI, "Caltech computer science" stats for the last two years here at thegradcafe.com:
2011:
Rejections: 9
Interviews: 2 (Jan. 14 & 15)
Acceptances: 0
2010:
Rejections: 9
Interviews: 2 (both Feb. 2)
Acceptances: 0
With so few here at thegradcafe.com being invited to interviews in 2011 & 2010 (only 2 for both years), maybe no one here got an invite for 2012.
