I was unaware about the whole notification process for NY as well,but that's what I was told! I'm not too nervous yet, I mean I definitely have my moments of OMG what if I don't get in, but then I talk myself down because I still have so many schools to hear from. All I need is one acceptance.... just one lol Congrats on the acceptances! Who knows, maybe we will be classmates! I really liked Adelphi, I have friends who are there now!

This is my second year applying so I am not surprised that I haven't heard from LIU-Brooklyn. I was told via phone that I was on the waitlist and then I received my rejection the day before my birthday last year (5/10). I did know people who were accepted though and found out last February. The only reason I am not surprised we haven't heard back yet is because all NY schools were allegedly suppose to notify all applicants at the same time. This is what I was told at my NYMC interview and I can't help to think that it may be true because we haven't heard from most NY schools yet and last year people heard much earlier.

I noticed that 2 people have already posted rejections to Kean, but I haven't seen anything else. My friend applied there last year and she said it was the last school she heard from.

I also applied to schools in the tristate area, but haven't heard anything yet! It's very frustrating as two of my friends have already heard from St.John's (1-waitlist, 1-rejection). However I did have two interviews, but haven't heard from those schools about decisions yet!

If any ESU posters are out there, those who were accepted-did your status change online!?

I also applied to Adelphi,but haven't heard back yet, did you receive the acceptance via email or postal mail? I visited the Garden City campus over the summer and really liked the program. I also have two friends who attend now- one at each campus and they both like it. Which campus did you apply to? Congrats on the acceptance!!

I saw that too! Two friends have heard back one a few weeks ago with a rejection and the other today with a waitlist notification, but I have heard nothing! I don't know if that is good or bad ....

Has anyone heard from St.John's???

I'm sorry it really sucks and the waiting continues.... Everyone has been telling me to stay positive and thats what I'm doing- it's not over until I receive my last letter!!

My stats are: overall GPA: 3.58, Speech/AUD: 3.67, Grad Cert: 4.0. I interviewed at St. Rose and was very impressed with their program..just waiting to hear back from them.

I contacted every school very early on to make sure that they received everything. I have heard many stories about applications being incomplete and people were rejected because of it.

I've gotten two rejections and have had two interviews so thats why I'm so unsure as to what to expect...I still have many schools to hear from so that gives me hope for one acceptance,but the whole process is extremely stressful!

I won't be able to sleep so if it is up at midnight I'll post about it lol....trying to be neutral about the whole situation ( don't want to get my hopes up)...

I feel doomed for an hour, I talk myself out of it, and then it repeats! My only hope today is postal mail,but I doubt I'll get anything- guess it's back to wanting Mondays to come...
