  1. Got rejected from SAIC over the phone this afternoon, so I'm going Cranbrook. Anyone else headed there in the fall?
  2. Just got the reject button from MICA Hoffberger--can't believe that in their email from February they said they were "looking forward to speaking" with me, and CAN'T believe they sent a city guide to Baltimore. Seriously unprofessional. ________________________________ MICA: Rejected (mail) California College of the Arts: Interviewed/Accepted (phone) Cranbrook: Interviewed/Accepted (phone) SAIC: Interviewed/waiting RISD: Rejected (email, because I asked) Columbia: assuming rejection CalArts: Rejected (mail)
  3. FYI for people who haven't heard from RISD or Columbia--Cranbrook is pressing me to make a decision by March 19, so I called up RISD and Columbia to find out what the deal is. RISD is mailing rejections out tomorrow for Painting I think, and Columbia refused to tell me what my decision is, though they said letters would be sent out at the end of the month (thus, I'm assuming a rejection since I didn't interview). I think if you haven't heard from RISD or Columbia, as I haven't, then it's a no-go. Also: Anyone get an email from MICA saying they'd get decision letters on March 12? ______________________________ MICA: Very unclear what's happening (email/city guide to Baltimore) Cranbrook: Interviewed/accepted SAIC: Interviewed/waiting RISD: Rejected Columbia: Presumed rejected CCA: Interviewed/accepted CalArts: Rejected
  4. So...MICA (Hoffberger Painting) sent me an email about a month ago saying they were sending my decision letter out on March 12 and that they "look forward to speaking with" me, and last week they sent me a city guide to Baltimore...but I know people have been interviewing there. What's the deal? Anyone else get that stuff? Wondering what's going on. Also, interviewed at SAIC this past weekend and heard that the rejection letters are the last thing to be sent out after the process is all said and done, so they won't be out until late March/early April. Is it pretty safe to say if you haven't heard from RISD/Columbia Painting it's a no-go? Trying to figure out my next move. ___________________________ CalArts: Rejected CCA: Accepted Cranbrook: Interviewed/Accepted SAIC: Interviewed/(waiting) MICA: Mind Games RISD: Columbia:
