i am waiting to hear from sac state too and it's really hard when we need to plan for next year! I have a feeling it will be soon, by April 30 at the latest!

Great thanks!! I think they just have the 2 and 3 year programs this year because for some reason they aren't doing the advanced standing for fall 2012.

I'm still patiently waiting for Sac, San Jose and SF!! I'm glad to hear that Sac is accepting about 110, that is way more than Chico's 30 for the 2 year program!! Does anyone know around how many application they received this year? I REALLY hope I get in somewhere...I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!!

I agree!! I have had SO many problems with Sac State regarding transcripts and such! I have called TONS of times because my student center says I still need my college transcripts, with a status of "initiated". Whatever that means! Everything was sent on time so they keep telling me just to wait for the person to scan it into the computer, which of course holds up the department from making a decision! SO frustrating!!

wow...that is SOO annoying!! sorry to hear that! It's so ridiculous they wouldn't notify you about something like that before it was too late! I'm still waiting to hear from Sac State too!! Hopefully they decide soon!

Congrats on getting admitted!! Is the advance standing program the 1 year? I heard that one was really competitive also! I am an undergraduate at Chico right now and know a ton of people that applied to that program and didn't get in, so you must have some really great stats!! congrats again!!

Finally heard from Chico, got rejected!! but apparently they had a ton of older applicants with tons of experience this year!! oh well, their loss! still waiting to hear from a few more, so hopefully I will get better news!

Wow you already heard from San Jose, that's lucky! They told me it could be anywhere from March through May to hear. I heard from CSULB, but not SFSU. I have heard San Francisco can take a long time!

Sorry to post AGAIN, but I'm an undergraduate at Chico State right now and was just told that their admission decisions are coming out this week and that they want to get them done before our spring break (which is next week), keep your fingers crossed!!!!!!

@aalariemy, I would not worry too much about sac state...i have 2 friends in their msw program and one of them barely had any experience in human services and she got accepted. I also read her personal statement and it really wasn't all that great. I applied there also and am really hoping to get in!! good luck to both of us!!

Thanks for the feedback! I had some major transcript issues with San Jose, which finally all got figured out last week, so I may not here from the for a little while considering they are just now looking at my application! ugh, soo annoying! hopefully it wont negatively affect my admissions status!

I am SO glad I found this page! I've been going crazy trying to wait for their decision!! I applied to CSU Chico, Sacramento, San Jose, San Francisco and Long Beach. I have already hear back from Long Beach and have been places in "pending status". I haven't heard back from any of the others, but I turned all my application in well before their due dates. Anyone heard anything else? Thanks a ton!! Can't wait to hear something (hopefully good news!! )
