Aalariemy, I would give Irma Salas a call instead. I don't know if she'll tell you or not but if you give your reasons maybe she'll help you out. You can find her info on CSUS's Social Work faculty page.

I talked to my professor at CSUS and she said that notices should be going out at the end of April. She said that they still had about 10 applications to process and then would have to send it to the graduate department for final review. I went up to withdraw my application today, because I was accepted at CSUC, and they told me that I was in the accepted pile of applicants. If your waitlisted there is hope! Good luck!

Aalariemy, I talked to Sac state the week before spring break. I am there for my undergrad right now and stopped by to talk to one of the heads of the department. LitteLo, I think the person I talked to at CSUS said that they had over 400 apllicants for the three programs.

I talked to someone in the Social Work department at Sacramento State and they said that they are accepting ~110 applicants and that they are still processing applications. She said that they hoped to extend a few early offers in the next couple of weeks. I already accepted Chico State's offer so if I get an offer from CSUS than those waitlisted should have hope! Good luck everybody.

Thanks LittleLo, the advanced standing is the one year program. But it means I have to go to summer school. Aalariemy, sorry to hear that happened to you. I would definitely appeal the decision if you feel you submitted a complete app. They're on spring break though this week. I sent off an email Thursday and didn't get a response.

They did it through email. It was sent out to me today via my email that was on my application. Sorry to hear that you didn't make it in LittleLo. I wish you luck with your other applications. Aalariemy, read my post from earlier today. You could still hear from them tomorrow.

I just called into Chico State's Social Work department and they said that they would be emailing out decisions today and tomorrow for the 1 year and 2 year programs. They told me that they will be accepting 21 one year students and 30 two year students. Out of the three programs (1yr, 2yr & 3yr) they had ~150 applicants. I also received an email that CSUC's email server will be down tell 3/26/12 for maintance starting today at 5pm. I don't know if it will effect them emailing out the offers today and tomorrow but wish I asked....
