You may have to wait until December, but some people who were put on the reversion list last year found out as early as June that they had moved up!

I was never waitlisted for OGS, but I was for SSHRC. Usually, they'll make a reversion list by discipline (or discipline code/field) and rank the reversion list. If one person declines in your field, the person in the #1 rank on the waitlist gets that award. You have to hope that people are declining their awards to take up a SSHRC instead or to study out of province. Depending on where you sit on the waitlist, your chances could be quite good.

I can log in to all the other OSAP programs except for OGS, so this MUST be an update for OGS....

Congrats jimmydalock! I'd say not to worry. This happened to me last year: mine was updated to say I was successful, but they took it down until all of the applicants were given results. So, Congratulations on getting an OGS! Crossing my fingers now, for funding in the last year I qualify for OGS!

anything is possible at this point... it seems that OGS results come out in different ways every year. Don't give up yet!

For most Grad programs, You'll automatically get the 15k award.. Even if you're not taking classes in the summer, as long as you're still enrolled (e.g. working on your thesis, etc)

Don't give up on the OGS waitlist. I will be declining my OGS this late in the game (december!)because the SSHRC waitlist came through for me

Thanks Transboundary... This was the last year I qualify, so it was nice to hear the news. I hope you hear good news soon too, or at least for next year's competition!

You will never believe it! I got an email today informing me that SSHRC is now in a position to offer me an award! The waitlist finally moved! There is some hope for us waitlisters after all. I am crossing my fingers for the rest of you now!
