  1. You got in. Go. It's not that complicated. If you don't get in next year you just lost a year of making ~$60K and will still have to pay loans eventually anyways.
  2. I'm not sure which is more difficult to get into but I was waitlisted as a CC-I last year at East Bay. In my rejection email they said there were 281 applicants for 16 spots.
  3. Are any of you Adelphi admits from the waitlist?
  4. Thanks for the supportive words! Has anyone on here written a LOCI and found a positive result? You're certainly right about leaving it all on the table.
  5. I'm finally starting to freak out. So far no great news, I've heard back from eight of my ten schools (two waitlists and six rejections). I get the impression 4/8 and 4/16 are going to be days of reckoning. Hopefully ASU and Easy Bay will bring me good news. I did my undergrad at ASU and was waitlisted at East Bay last year.
  6. That doesn't sound good..... What is taking these people so long anyways?! I just want any answer.
  7. Unfortunately this will never get funded. Luckily the student loan forgiveness set up by Barry will help a bit.
  8. I would recommend they take a year off, sew their oats, and come back when they've had some time to reflect. There's nothing wrong with taking time off to find yourself.
  9. I'm almost finished with my pre-reqs. I would love to get into EB but Pacific is my #1 for their accelerated program. I went to the open house and I was very impressed.
  10. I applied to CSUEB and UoP. I believe we're in for a long wait...
  11. Part of me thinks it's unfair to exclude A+'s considering I was at risk of getting A-'s (that are worth 3.67), so I feel like the GPA situation would come out in the wash anyways.
  12. Anyone else kind of bummed about your GPA calculations for CSDCAS? Not counting A-pluses brought me down .16 gpa points.
  13. How long did some of your CSDCAS applications take to process? I'm a bit nervous about mine...
  14. I can't deny how stressful this process is and the field is certainly incredibly competitive but you also have to consider how inflated all of the applicant numbers are due to everyone applying to 11 schools at a time.
