Does anybody know around how many people Idaho state waitlists for their online program? I'm just curious as I haven't seen anyone rejected yet?

I am kind of thinking that everyone that was not accepted was put on the waitlist and that the waitlist will be narrowed down and rejections will be sent out via postal service. I could be wrong, but I know several people (at least six) on the waitlist, including myself and the email that was sent out stated on 2/28 stated:

" All those applicants not receiving offer letters will be notified by email only (from our department, not the graduate school) that they have been placed on a wait list. Within the next couple weeks, the wait list will be shortened. Those denial letters will be sent by mail only. "

To me, this is kind of send a sense of false hope to all those that weren't accepted. BUT at the same time, it is not a rejection yet! It seems like they have picked their top candidates then plan to go through once again to shorten the wait list.

I was waitlisted for Idaho state this year and last year. With the waitlist last year I was on it until the middle of July when I received a letter in the mail saying I was denied. Hope this helps!

That does help thanks! I will more than likely be removing myself off of the of the wait-list because I have already been accepted somewhere else.

That kind of sucks because I did really get excited at the thought of being waitlisted and still having a chance! Guess I'll just have to wait more :/
