Hi y'all! Since the Erasmus Mundus International Master in Central & East European, Russian & Eurasian Studies (IMCEERES) has been revamped and significantly expanded since last year, I created a separate forum thread. Are you as psyched as me about the programme? Are you as stressed as myself about the scholarship?

Let's share backgrounds, information, tips and co-ordinate in order to have an as much as stress-free experience as possible and get to know each other! :-)

I will start. I am from Greece and I am a journalist! Studied and also worked in London and the FSU region is my life's main interest!

Hi all! I'm from Thailand. During high school I was in Hungary for a year with AFS exchange program. I graduated in liberal arts (in Italian major, nothing to do with CEE though). I'm now working in one Central European embassy in Bangkok as a local assistant. If I get in, it is very much likely that I'll be pursuing my studies into this area. :)

Your background seems a great fit with a programme like that! All the best. Do you have any info about the scholarship procedure and around when we should be awaiting results (besides what the website states)? Have you contacted the programme?

@Castorsia No I haven't. In the website it is said that we will be notified by the scholarship result in early April, so I'm still waiting for it. That's the only source I have since I know no one else in my circle who is also applying to the same program.

@PeepSqueak Thank you, you too! :)

Hi guys.I am from Turkey which is consired as a programme country.I am a scholarship candidate for IMCEERES this year.I have 3.92 GPA out of 4.00. I studied one year in Poland as an Erasmus+ exchange student.I worked as research aide to some academicians and translator in a think tank over the region.I am also licenced sporter having medals in various branches. However,I am nervous that it is hard to get a scholarship as a programme country candidate. Are there any people who are waiting for the results or want to make a comment about my chance?

Is there anyone here who is a part of this program OR has finished this program that can discuss how the programs works in detail?

I am very interested in applying but I would like to know how the program vibes (coursework, learning environment, languages, etc.). Thank you.
