Canadian SLP Admissions

Hi!

I'm a 3rd year Biology student hoping to apply to McMaster, UofT, Western, and Dalhousie SLP programs in the next year or two. I have read a couple other threads of applicants who have been accepted and it seems a lot of them have research experience on top of academic references and volunteer experience. My program does not really allow me to conduct any psychological/linguistic research and I am worried that I will not be competitive without it. Can anyone give me an idea as to what their application consisted of? (Whether you were accepted or not)
