I intend on applying to the HBS MBA program after completing my current program and I am wondering if a candidate with my background would be considered. Undergrad: 3.7 (4.0 scale) psychology Graduate Studies: masters in clinical psychology (completed), doctorate in clinical psychology (in progress) GRE: V: 75th percentile, Q: 63rd percentile, AW: 99th percentile Work Experience: Health Club Manager (~1 year), Strategic Partnerships at a tech start up (~1 year), Project Manager at a custom home development company (~1 year), Research Assistant (~1 year) Grad School Work Exp: Research Assistant, Forensic Therapist, Community Mental Health Therapist, Psychological Assessment Trainee, Health Psychology Therapist (hospital- integrated care) -- each placement is 9-12 months in length
Darwinian192 Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 You're going to want to bump those test scores up big time. The writing score is always nice, but your essays are more significant. I'm not sure where the doctorate in clinical psychology is applicable, but maybe others can chime in.
