Had my interview earlier this week. During the ending part of the interview when the faculty were asked when we would hear back about our admissions status, the response was that they were going to "try" and let us know before ASHA's recommended date of April 15th. I thought this was extremely late, especially considering our application was due relatively early on December 15th. I have been admitted into multiple other programs, all of which require we make our decision by April 15th at the latest, otherwise I will lose my spot. I am not going to wait around for an email with the hopes they will tell us before the 15th and risk losing my other admission offers. It's a shame that they are waiting so long to tell people and are likely missing out on some strong applicants.

It could because I’m out of state they informed me earlier. Most likely will! Don’t lose faith!!

I received an email that says "recommend conditional admission" as well. I had an interview with them on Mar 11. I already got into my top choice so will likely be declining my offer. Hope this helps someone!

Sorry to bother everyone in this thread again, but does anyone happen to know when they are sending out waitlist rankings/rejections? I realize that not hearing anything at this point is most likely a rejection, but I'd like to see the actual decision in writing at some point...
