BioCook Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Hi all - I'm slowly motivating myself to start a budget for when I get to grad school. I currently have one since I am working full-time, but it'll be extremely different once I go back to school full-time. Does anyone here have any templates or tips for budgeting before/during school?
speechie777 Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 I’m also interested in any tips for budgeting! I’ve been working a full time job and a part time job this year and never worked less than 30 hours a week the entire time I’ve been in college. I know this won’t be possible with a rigorous grad program and am stressing about how to pay bills, let alone have any money to spend for leisure. Would love to hear how others have juggled this in the past!

Kudos to everyone who's a better at budgeting than me and/or willing to work more than 5 hours a week, but I'm just not that person!

Southwestspeechie Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Look for free food wherever you go and try to limit how much you go out! The school I go to has a Campus Pantry for students where you can pick up some food twice a week, and it helps a lot.
