How did I get on a grad school email list?

I've been receiving emails from grad programs I didn't even send my GRE too advertising their speech-pathology programs and encouraging me to apply. Is there a reason for this? Was it something I selected while filling out my GRE? Did these schools receive my stats somehow and now want me to apply?

Sounds like your email got put on some sort of spam list.

Have you started filling out your CSDCAS? There is a check box that you can click when filling out personal information that allows grad schools to have access to your email address to send you information.
