    Oh yeah, it's expensive! You should accept admission into the most affordable program.

    That was my concern too. I didn’t apply to any online programs that would not find my placement. I am currently attending Speech@Emerson and we have clinical coordinators who secure placement for you. I recommend Emerson especially right now when a lot of places (at least in my area) it has been difficult to secure placement due to COVID.

    I am currently in my second semester at Emerson college and I love it! There is no “special focus” in terms of medical/school career paths. So far, I feel that they have given equal focus to both the science / school side of the field. I am in the Speech@Emerson program, not in person.

    I just got accepted into Montana off the waitlist today. But I start Emerson next week. Does anyone know the cost for this program?

    I would love to stay connected if you can. Maybe through email or some other social media site? I will be apart of the May cohort. It's easier to navigate this journey with another classmate.

    Who else will be apart of the May 2020 cohort? I got a call that I was accepted today. I still haven't received an email with the letter. How long did it take for the email to come through? Hope it wasn't an error. LOL.

    What cohort did you apply for at Emerson? I'll probably be accepting their offer. I've heard the cost is anywhere between 65k-70k. It depends on if you've taken pre reqs.

    Thanks for the heads up. I wonder why they don't offer live classes where you can interact with the professor in real time?

    Yeah, I'm not going to hear from my other schools until April either. So frustrating!

    Mine is the same, SO EXPENSIVE. I really dont want to lose it but I also don't want to risk losing a spot if I get rejected from everywhere else.

    I'm going to be in the same boat too! By any chance does the school you've been accepted to allow for an extension?

    For some it's their dream school. I know all the programs I've applied to are pricy but distance programs are what fit my lifestyle. Everyone has their own reasons, I don't judge.

    I got my rejection letter from Baylor yesterday. I called my admissions rep for an update and she said I should've received a decision by now. A few hours later, I got a rejection email. I was accepted into NOVA Summer 2020 cohort today. Is anyone else accepting their offer? I wonder if they will still hold the orientation in April with the COVD-19 pandemic.

    That's awesome! Congrats. This is for the CA Cohort, right? I didn't realize that at first.

    They gave you an actual day when they when send acceptance/reject notices? That's good. news. I also interviewed last week.

    I hope it's a good thing. People who interviewed after me have already received responses accept/rejected from the schools that I've applied to. I have no idea if that's a bad sign. It's driving me a little crazy.

    That's ok, you got into NOVA? That's awesome news. I'm hoping to hear from them soon. I had an interview with NOVA last week and they called me a few days later to ask me if I was interested in the CA Cohort or distance program. I hope thats a good sign? Unless the admissions rep was genuinely confused. LOL.
