    Heard back from U of Montana and I was waitlisted. Have you heard anything yet? Not an outright rejection but I'm still sad. Trying to remain hopeful.

    I haven't heard back from Emerson yet. I interviewed on Feb 11th. The admissions rep said the turn around time has taken around 3 weeks. Well, it's been longer than that so I'm not feeling hopeful. I agree, I plan on picking the most affordable program. Although these online programs are so expensive.

    I still haven't heard back! Although, my application wasn't officially complete until a few weeks after the deadline. I'm getting nervous.

    The questions weren't bizarre in my opinion. Be prepared to discuss what sparked your interest in SLP. I just wore a nice shirt. My hair was kind of a mess! lol

    I've applied to Montana and haven't heard anything yet. I did receive an email stating that they will be sending out decision no later than April 1st. I will already have all my other decisions by then so not sure I'll even be attending there if I am accepted there.

    I recently had an interview at Emerson (online program, it was a recorded skype style interview and only three questions were asked. It wasn't that bad.

    That’s good news! I’m glad Emerson takes other factors into consideration when it comes to the 5 year expiration date for the foundational courses.

    Oh no! That’s a deal breaker. Are you sure Emerson doesn’t have the same requirement? At a recent webinar Emerson said the foundational courses couldn’t be more than 5 years old. I guess I was misheard.

    I would apply there in a heart beat if it weren't for the 4 month time commitment! I've also heard they are giving priority to their current students as well.

    Thanks so much for all the helpful information about the timeline! I'm also a Mom as well, which is why online programs work best for my lifestyle. I do know that Baylor is 100% online with no time required on campus. Unlike, NYU and Emerson which do require some time on campus. But, I don't think it's a significant amount of time. It's another thing to consider.

    I know all of them are expensive but the only determining factor for me would be cost of the program. Which one is the least expensive? I am also applying to all of those programs as well! Congrats on getting in to all 3. I just completed my application to Baylor a few days ago. My admissions counselor informed me that I should expect a decision around 6-8 weeks. Although, she also told me people have been getting their decisions much earlier than that. I'd be interested to see what the actual turnaround time has been for other applicants.

    Sorry to hear that you didn't get into Emerson. I am sure you will get into another program! Their turn around time seems to be pretty quick? My cGPA isn't too impressive and the GPA from my first degree is ...YIKES. Haha, but I'm giving it a shot anyway. I'm also applying to NYU Steinhardt this cycle...keep us updated!

    I haven't submitted my application yet. But, I am also planning on applying to Emerson. I am a little nervous about the interview, what sorts of questions did they ask? Good luck, I'm sure you have a good shot of getting accepted.
