kaze_ng Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Took the GRE and few days ago and my scores were very low despite putting a lot of effort into studying. 158V - 156Q, no score for AW yet. With my low undergrad GPA (3.27, poli sci and econ. 3.44 in poli sci) and also low master's GPA (3.2), realistically what schools should I look at? I know I have zero chance at any top 30 school. Do you guys have any recommendation? I plan to study comparative politics/political economy if I get in. Thank you.
PolPhil Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I'd guess that unless you have something that stands out in your application that you're not telling us, you should be looking at top 50-100 universities. The cGPA, master's GPA and GRE are all huge red flags. You'd probably need significant research experience to overcome that, as well as stellar recommendations. Theory007 1
