CSDCAS application status question

Hi all,

I'm panicking because my university hasn't sent my official transcript yet but I submitted my application. My earliest deadline is January 1st but since CSDCAS doesn't have my transcript yet my application status is received instead of verified. Does your application still get sent to the schools even if it's not verified yet? I'm just curious to know if the application will still be considered on time if my transcript isn't in yet.

I'm in the same situation as you (obsessively checking CSDCAS everyday to see if my transcript has been received), so I'm sticking around to see if anyone else has the answer.

I'm not fully sure if it gets received but my transcript sent the day after my fall grades were in and once the day after that CSDCAS received them. Then 4 days after that my application was verified.

This is all stuff I've read online but I heard grad schools can view applications at any time but aren't considered actually submitted until you get to the verified status. So I think for everything to be fully sent and the admission committee to look at your application your application has to be verified. So unfortunately I don't think it'll be considered on time if everything isn't in including transcripts.

I have 1 application due January 1st too and I was really worried it wouldn't get to them on time either.  Contact the school and explain your situation to them and maybe contact your university to see when they'd be sending out transcripts too.

In the same position. All we can do is keep checking the status and stay on top of its progress, and contact the Jan. 1st deadline schools to see if they can review them late/when the transcripts are verified.

Hi!  It depends on the color deadline.. so like if its a blue deadline school you just have to submit the application by the deadline but materials can come later. If your school is a green deadline school it must be verified by the deadline.

Which program did you apply to? Check on your program's requirements through https://help.liaisonedu.com/CSDCAS_Applicant_Help_Center/Starting_Your_CSDCAS_Application/Getting_Started_with_Your_CSDCAS_Application/04_Participating_Programs_and_Eligibility. Like others have said, different programs have different requirements-- only some (green label) require verification to take place before the due date, which can take up to a month. Most programs only require that you have every document received (orange label).
