I'm a non-native speaker writing my PhD thesis in English. I'm just worried that my thesis title might be incorrect. Can a native speaker please check the title :)?

The title is Visual Multimodal Mapping - Localization and Mapping Across Different Imaging Modalities

Looks great. What is your native language, if I may ask?

I agree with @CozyD about using the colon over the hyphen. Most titles in academic papers use a colon instead of a hyphen. The title before the colon would be your main title, and the title after the colon would be your subtitle.

P.S. Very interesting article, @CozyD!
