Has anyone heard anything? Transcript requests or rejections?

Do you mind I ask, what time exactly did you receive the transcript request? And what's your field of study?

I had a transcript request some time ago, but after looking through some old threads that this means less than, say, becoming a Fulbright semifinalist.

Mostly posting here to spur activity.

Hey Y'all, 

I applied for 2021 cycle. Do yall have any information about the review process and when we would get updates?

First third of February - applicants a) are rejected (usually via snail mail), b) asked to provide transcripts, OR c) hear nothing, which seems to have been a very good sign in years past. The lucky 60 and their alternates (out of this year's pool of some 1100, or so I hear) will be notified in April. Best of luck!

Has anyone checked their application in the portal? (you can get there by clicking on apply now and then entering your credentials). I didn't get an email or anything, but I have a new submission showing up in there in my "Need attention". Anyone else see anything like that?

Oh damn yes! When I click on the Needs Attention tab it says 'Finalist Submission' under Round. Not sure what to think...

Same... I don't want to be too optimistic especially if multiple people are seeing this....

Ughhh agony. We don't know of any rejections having been sent for the 2020 round right?

I also see "finalist submission" when I click "needs attention". What does it mean?
