Hey, same. When did you submit and when did the status change for you?

I was accepted back in Jan. My status changed from Adcom to Accepted in 12 days. However, no news on the finaid yet.

Now I'm nervous... I applied on the 30th and haven't heard back yet! Maybe Hertie doesn't accept all applications, after all ?

We both are in the same boat, buddy!

Hope we both get some clarity soon! I did write to the school and they were prompt to reply. Said some faculty members take longer to read through applications, and it's likely that they will have a decision within the next two weeks.

Hey everyone!! Just found this group after getting accepted into the MIA program yesterday!! For those of you that got financial aid info, what was the delay between acceptance and finding out whether or not you got a tuition waiver? Congrats to everyone for making it

Hey! I heard back a day after getting my acceptance letter too. Sadly didn't make the cut for financial aid, so I've opted for a talk with my Admissions Officer to figure things out.

Hope it works out well for you!

Hey, I heard back regarding the financial aid after 10 days of receiving the acceptance offer. Received a 35% tuition waiver for MPP. Good luck!

Hey, I might be wrong but I don't think it works that way. From what I understand, it depends on when the admissions/selection committee sits to decide. In my case, I applied in mid December, got my acceptance on 1 February, and the financial waiver decision a month later on 2 March. I'd emailed them in mid February asking about the financial waiver decisions and was informed that the committee would sit on 1 March after which the results would be announced.

Hi all,

Seeing as I've been stalking this thread for the past three weeks on a daily basis I thought I might as well throw my hat in the ring.

I submitted my application for the MPP on January 30th, and received an e-mail on February 3rd to say that my application was complete and passed on to the Selection Committee for evaluation.

I applied for the International Law and Human Rights scholarship, having submitted my essay on January 31st.

I am also anxiously waiting to hear back regarding the application, scholarship, and tuition waiver.

I will update if I hear anything back.

All the best.

Hi all,

Wanted to share my update.

I received an acceptance on March 2nd, and am still waiting to hear back on the scholarship and tuition waiver.

All the best.

Thanks for the responses everyone! Good luck to everyone still waiting on admission or aid- we should make a fb or whatsapp group when we've all made our decisions.

Thank you! :D Email them, no? They usually respond very quickly!

Hey I did. On Tuesday, actually. They reverted saying I should expect an email by the end of next week. I'm sure they've shared such a timeline after having considered sufficient buffer.

So for the ones here who haven't heard back on their application or aid, I believe they have quite a few panels on the Adcom. So it depends on each panel, their schedules, availability, etc before they communicate their decisions. Nothing else explains why some of us are still waiting to hear from them despite applying around the same time.

Best wishes for all!

Yeah. That sounds like a good idea.

Has everyone accepted the offer or still waiting to hear back from other universities?
