Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone else here is in the same boat as me? I just received got my stats grade last week and am wondering if UofT will consider that? Does anyone know about how likely it is that they'll be giving out conditional offers? [I'm a current UofT undergrad, and have also heard that the UofT grad schools have access to UofT undergrad grades, so technically they should see my grade even though I wasn't able to submit it on time]

I was kind of on the same boat as you but i was doing my stats through Athabasca and ended up getting my marks by late January. But just to confirm, I emailed Suzanne about it, she said this: You need to submit your stats form with your application in order for it to be considered complete. You need to indicate the course you are taking and that the grades are pending as you state below and the form is correct. Once you get the grades, please upload the unofficial transcript. Some applicants are taking a stats course this term and won't get their grades until April".

Hope it helps!

Oh thanks for replying! So I guess they are expecting us to update the unofficial transcripts. Are you applying to the SBHS as well? Also I had written to the admissions email and they just sent me an email saying: "The Graduate Office cannot accept supporting documents after the application deadline. If your application is successful, your offer would be conditional upon successful completion of your statistic requirement and degree program."

yfor context, I had sent them my unofficial transcript via email. Also was is Suzzane Jackson that you emailed? Struggling to figure out who exactly to reach out to.

Yeah, I have applied to SBHS stream as well and yes Suzanne Jackson - the Program Lead. She is very concise with her responses and is quick too. My fingers are crossed as this is my top choice of program to get into...

I emailed UVIC today about the status of their applications. They said " All applications are currently under review by our Admissions Committee and we anticipate decisions will be made by the middle of April.  We have received over 425 applications and with only 35 seats to offer, we are taking the time to review each application thoroughly and holistically"

I was just scanning the conversation and trying to get a sense of which schools have sent out offers (first round) and which haven't.  Anything to add to this summary?

Sent- Queens, McGill, UofT, Sask, UBC

Not sent- UVic, UofA, Waterloo, Lakehead, Brock, SFU

I actually got my acceptance email from SFU this past Friday! So I am assuming that they are just starting to send out their first round of responses. Hope that helps :)

Hi guys! I received an offer from UofA in the health policy stream. I was wondering, if I want to switch into a different stream later on, would that be possible? Or do I have to stick with the stream I was accepted into

Hi, I think I read somewhere that you need to complete at least one semester in your selected stream before you can switch.

I applied to the MPH program at BrockU and I haven’t heard back yet.

Seems like a lot less people apply to Brock for an MPH because I don’t see it being talked about as much haha
