Any word on Alberta and Toronto health promo? UBC?

Nothing from U of A I am waiting anxiously. It sounds like UBC has started sending our offers and rejections.

Congratulations! That's amazing, both are great programs!

I just have a few questions. Would you mind sharing your stats/experience as you're the only person I heard from who got accepted to Mac mph, and so early on too (March 2), which is again amazing haha. Just curious cause mac is my first choice and would like to know if I even have a shot lol.

Also do you know anyone else who heard back or got accepted to mac?

Trying to remain calm but my portal just updated for UofA with an "Offer response due date"!

MPH-HPro part-time Distance.

I saw that this happened to someone last year and they got in....must remain calm until an official offer is received but OMG

Thank you! I’m quite surprised because I lack in certain parts but I truly feel like my letter of intent helped me.

I graduated in 2021 and have been working as a Public Health Nurse for the vaccinations team. Prior to that in school, I had clinical placements In the ICU, community health, Public health, acute med etc. i think being in Public Health and ICU during the pandemic may have helped me? (Those experiences were mainly discussed in my LOI). I also have been a nursing statistics teaching assistant for the last 3 years and a nursing peer tutor for 2 years. Throughout my undergrad I joined maybe 3-4 clubs, which in 2 I was an exec member.

because my undergrad was in nursing it’s kind of complicated for me to fully know my gpa due to the pass/fail courses. But it was definitely above 3.9. But otherwise I have no research experience or a publication (which really scared me) so I just believe if there are some weak points in your application you can definitely get in by highlighting the strengths in your app.
I have not heard about anyone else getting in. Just the under review emails.
I asked them to extend their deadline as it was March 28. But their deposit was $0

if I am missing anything let me know, and I wish you all the best :)
