Hi Everyone,

I thought it would be nice to have a forum  to discuss the UofT MSW program process , applications, interviews, etc.

I'm applying for the MSW 2yr Mental health and health stream

How has the application process been for everyone?  Two more days for the dealing.  Did everyone manage to cut down each questions to 400 words - I found it so hard.

Hey! Just feeling relieved that it's submitted ? I got the notification last night that my final referee had submitted her reference letter so my submission was officially completed . The 400 words was a bit challenging but I find these word limit exercises always make us better writers because you surprise yourself with how well you can get your point across with less words lol

I agree.  And I'm relieved that this application is done.  Now starts the waiting game.

Hi, I'm applying for the one year MSW Mental Health Stream. Good luck to you too! As far as I know, there are no interviews. I have submitted my application package, and all my references have been sent in. it is my understanding that I only have to play the waiting game now.

So far, everyone who's indicated which MSW stream they applied to has said Mental health stream. I am also one of those people!  ?  I'm mentally preparing myself for the difficulty to get into this program on account for their potentially being more mental health stream applicants! I'm assuming they try to accept equal numbers of people into each stream? But I guess I don't know for sure!

Yea - most people have on this website have indicated the mental health stream.  On another forum, few have applied the ITR stream as well.

It's only Jan and the waiting game is killing me!

Does anyone know how many acceptances Uoft rolls out for MSW?

I believe there are around 130 seats! That being said, I have no idea how many they accept for each stream..
