There's nothing on Draft about Virginia Tech and I haven't seen anyone post about fiction here! Where else are you waiting to hear back from?

Got a call from Montana today – in for fiction! She said that they had not finished calling all of the accepted applicants so some of you may be getting good news in the coming days! Also going to post on the results board.

Well, official Northwestern rejection under my belt. Doesn't exactly bode well.

Expecting one from WashU soon, too, with the news that's been posted here recently

I hope everyone's doing well. 

Restlessness has sent me back to my writing sample, reading it, trying to imagine someone saying yes or no to it. Haha, so healthy. Found two errors but I'm in a forgiving mood. Anyway, despite its flaws, I suddenly felt really proud of the stories and myself. I hope everyone here, no matter how it all shakes out, can feel proud of the work they've done and the chance they're taking!

Just got another rejection from Northwestern. You know, in case I didn’t get the message the first time. Ah, onwards. Hoping South Carolina will notify me soon since someone’s already heard from them.

Do you mean someone’s already heard a rejection or are you just talking about the acceptances to SC?

The people who have heard from WashU--Were they fiction or just poetry? I've only see people mention poetry but want to make sure.

There are acceptances and waitlists from Fiction, Poetry, and CNF.

I applied to Oregon in fiction as well. They only accept five per genre, so my guess is that since there's a poetry acceptance on draft from last week and a fiction acceptance on draft from this week, they're done notifying accepted applicants and we are not in the lucky five. Alas!

I just got my email today. I applied for fiction. Kind of strange. I haven't heard anything otherwise, and I don't know if I actually got in or not. I guess they reserve the right to reject you if the interview goes poorly? Why can't I just be accepted already, lmao

I’m in the same exact boat. I got the interview request 2 weeks ago and did the interview 8 days ago. Haven’t heard a thing since. Wish it were easy!

I never got an interview request from them and also haven’t heard anything. I wish they would just send a rejection already.

Same. I do not have very high hopes for most of my programs for the fall, but I just want to get it over with haha.

Hang in there, salt_shaker! You got an interview at a pretty dang selective school. That in itself is a pretty good sign, even if you don't get in it at Amherst. That's what I tell myself, anyway

Nice! I also applied to UVA (if I'm being honest, though, 80% of my interest is because you could live like a king on their stipend in Charlottesville) and I'm waiting on Ole Miss, Minnesota, Syracuse, Iowa, UNC, UT Austin (both Michener and NWP), Texas State, and LSU. Hoping at least a couple of these notify in the next week because at 4:30 on a Friday I know we're probably not hearing anything else until Monday and, man, is the wait killing me.

I feel you. I set my expectations on when I'd start hearing back based on last year's notification dates (not recommended, I know) and have been totally off.

We have a couple places in common! Remind me, are you applying in fiction? I’ve already forgotten. 
I am a poet but I would KILL to get to learn from Mona Awad at Syracuse lol. Did you read any of her books? Bunny is one of my favorite books of all time.
