I've only heard bad things about Hunter although I'm sure there are people out there that love the program and I bet there are some good things about the program. I just haven't heard any good things about it . http://www.studentsr...Y/CUNYHC_g.html includes one review that is particularly bad. I think you just need to try and find people currently in the program or recently graduated from it and see if they like it or not because at every school you will find students that love and hate the programs. Thanks for this. Those are the types of things I have heard, too, but I know they have had some faculty changes in the past few years, so maybe things have changed. I haven't heard anything yet. They told me they'd be sending a notification by mail...said we should receive notifications any time between now and April 15th. I'm still waiting for several other schools but I'm very relieved and happy that I got in, as it is my top choice school Congrats!!! I know these are just expressions and people are really stressed out, but please remember that admissions decisions sometimes make no sense. You are more than your status at a university! Don't let a rejection get you too down! We've all (I imagine) been there, and it's awful, but if you really want to be an SLP and you are qualified, then you will find a school that is right for you. Plus I have known a handful of people that did not get into any schools their first (or second) time around but ended up finding their home the next semester/year.
