Hey, is this for the 2 year program? Or advanced standing?

Hi, it's for Advanced Standing!

sorry for the disappointing news you've got. Did they mention any reason for the rejection?

No, they didn't; I think that it has to do with work experience; I hear that they look for students with a lot under their belt. One of my current profs also kind of confirmed it for me, saying its very difficult to get in. I regret only applying to two schools but I think a year off will be good either way for me!

Sorry to hear about Laurier… What school were you waitlisted for? Hoping you get off that waitlist! :) Also, what does your last name start with?

Laurentian, I applied there because I did my BSW with them, but they have very limited spots. I knew the chances of getting in were slim because they can't take students on atm. If I get off the waitlist, I will take the spot, but at least they didn't reject me, haha.

I really wanted to apply to TMU, but I think I will apply to more universities in 2025 with hopes of getting into one.

And L however might be a bit late telling you lol.

Anyone else had issues uploading their document to U of T to accept being on the waitlist? Anytime I try to upload mine completed it says "Please select a material type" and I don't see anywhere to select anything.

Hi! I had this issue too. Just take a screenshot of the document you have to fill out and mark it on whatever application (e.g., adobe, canva, etc.)

I am painfully waiting for the Laurier MSW results to come out, has anyone heard anything yet this week for the full time 2 year program?

Nope. I’m with you - still waiting. Does your application portal just show your submitted documents?

Did anyone who applied to York hear back from York's MSW full time advanced standing program?

Yes, I received my offer letter on April 9th.

Has anyone received an offer of admission, or rejection, to Laurier's 2 year MSW program? I am still anxiously waiting to hear back!

Not yet! :(

I was looking at when people heard back last year and it was the last Monday of the month... so hopefully we find out Monday the 22nd instead of the 29th, because I can't wait that long!

Recently received my offer of admission to WLU's MSW in-person program!

Does anyone have any insight to the program - pro/cons? What it's like to live in Kitchener?

I would be moving from faaar away, so would love to hear comments to help with decision-making! Thanks and good luck to those still waiting to hear!
