Question

Posted (edited)

All students whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language(TOEFL). Preference will be given to students who submit Internet Based Test scores (iBT). For the iBT, minimum total score required is 100 with a required minimum score of 25 on the speaking subsection. For the CBT, a minimum score of 250 is required. For the PBT, a minimum score of 600 is required. Please upload scores to application.

This is written on the application page of CMU MHCI which I applied for as international student. I submitted TOEFL iBT score of 102 with subsection scores as follows:

  • Reading: 26
  • Listening: 26
  • Speaking: 23
  • Writing: 27

Will my TOEFL score reduce my chance of getting accepted significantly?

Things to consider:
Applicants were also asked to submit a video essay which "should allow the committee to know who you are and how you communication/present".
