Hello...this is my first post here. I am a final year Mechanical engineering student from India, and I got accepted to Masters in Nanotechnology program at Upenn. I am very excited but at the same time I am not completely sure about the course.

Other students accepted to Upenn please respond here :)

What are you unsure of?

Hello emmm

I am not sure of the job prospects after the Master's degree. I have a Mechanical background and I presume most of the applicants might have a Biotech-Chem-Electrical background with research exp and work ex. Pitting my wits against these guys is a daunting prospect. I am 100% sure this course is for me.

I can't address your field-specific question, but I can say that Penn is one of the most respected universities in the U.S., and I imagine that a degree from them might carry extra clout, no matter your field. Congratulations! Acceptance there is no small accomplishment :)

Congratulations! I received an acceptance from UPenn as well - I applied to the Computer Science department for a Masters in Computer Graphics and Game Technology.

Good luck for any remaining schools you applied to
