lolopixie Posted February 17, 2011 Author Posted February 17, 2011 So exited, I was just accepted to present at my second conference in the next few months. The first is an undergraduate conference hosted by the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL next month, and I just received email confirmation for a graduate interdisciplinary conference to be held at the University of British Columbia in May. First time crossing the northern border of the United States -- definitely pumped. Very cool to be crossing borders!
Queynte Fantasye Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 What a great thread! In the process of applying for PhD programs, I took a break from freaking out about and applied to a conference (my first out of state one!). I'm going to the Northern Plains Conference on Early British Lit in April and I'm super psyched I've presented at three conferences, but none that were geared toward my particular focus. Are any of you guys going to this one??
the once and future grad Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 *bump* Are people still up for meeting at PCA/ACA? I was going to pm all of you, but there are quite a few of us! It's hard to narrow in on a time and place since there's so much going on, but hopefully we can all work something out - would be great to meet you guys in person (although I suspect that I met one of you last week).
weatherwax Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I'm going to be around. I'll only be around from late Thursday-ish (ha! of course I mean I'll be there alter today). Ugh, sorry...I was out of here for a while. The semester is slowly engulfing me. *bump* Are people still up for meeting at PCA/ACA? I was going to pm all of you, but there are quite a few of us! SeattleTri Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Anyone presenting at the Triennial Kenneth Burke Conference in May? I'll be there presenting on an Eco-Rhetoric panel...
grifter Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Anyone presenting at the Triennial Kenneth Burke Conference in May? I'll be there presenting on an Eco-Rhetoric panel... I was considering attending but I just got done presenting at Cs (involving an expensive trip to the south) and I am a little conferenced out for the time. Best of luck.
