I'm glad you got into a school you're happy to attend! And I am glad you did the same. It sounds like you preferred the English/writing programs from the distribution of your applications. I don't know where I will go. I am having an incredibly difficult time choosing from two higher ed. programs! I think I have to decide by around April 4th for one of them, so it is coming down to decision time now! Carnegie Mellon is an excellent school. I know little to nothing about good programs in writing, but the school has great name recognition if that matters to you . . . sounds like it will be good. Edited March 31, 2011 by rhianita
julia32 Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 I want to apply to their Curriculum and Instruction PhD. It's past the deadline, but I know that sometimes universities allow you to enroll as a non degree seeking student. I contacted their advisors, no response.
Redsuedeshoes Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Wow! Nothing like giving up completely to make an acceptance feel SO amazing!!! Just got the news...I'm in! Congrats! I am still waiting on a decision--hopefully this will be the week!
