sarmstrong Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 I don't know about everyone else, but there are a couple of schools I'm still waiting to hear from and I just want to know if I'm alone on those schools. Maybe we can all post about schools we're still waiting from so that other people still waiting know they're not alone! I'm still waiting on Columbia (MA in Intern. & Comp. Ed.) and UCLA (Social Science and Comparative Ed.). Anyone else?
FingersCrossedX Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 (edited) Yeah Vanderbilt too. I guess since the application was free and its a good school, EVERYONE applied. I think even my mom applied. Edited March 15, 2011 by FingersCrossedX
kismetcapitan Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 someone had to be the sacrificial lamb I guess...."1st round" rejections have already been sent out, so those still waiting are still in the running. That's the good news. Bad news...1-2 weeks more estimated before they make a final decision?

Maybe my letter got held up during Mardi Gras. Edited March 15, 2011 by FingersCrossedX
FingersCrossedX Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 UT-austin.... I got wait listed earlier this month, so I bet you'll be hearing something soon. Keep an eye on your email. That's how they told me.
swan1223 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 University of Kansas and Boston College. *audible sigh......*
gradschoolplease Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 umass boston has yet to get back to me and i got wait-listed from teachers college for their ma applied linguistics program. i hope they eventually want me
theone2333 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Columbia University-TC. Another posting said late next week for the Organzational Leadership department decisions. With so many bright minds on this site alone, I'm sure we could think of a less stressed solution to applying to colleges!!
latinavivat Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I'm still waiting on Boston University, has anyone heard from them?
nyckate Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Only schools I am waiting on are Hunter and NYU; have heard from TC and Fordham (only applied to NYC grad schools)
coffeekid Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Anyone else still waiting from Peabody??? This is getting a bit out of hand, I feel.
CanAm Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I'm still waiting for CUNY Hunter. Apparently they have a very late acceptance date. I'm visiting next week to get a better sense of their time frame and the program itself (TESOL MA).
rhianita Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 UT-austin.... I found out about Austin today. They did not even send me an email, but they sent an email about financial aid and it prompted me to check.
BioMar Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Only schools I am waiting on are Hunter and NYU; have heard from TC and Fordham (only applied to NYC grad schools) I heard from NYU on March 28th and Fordham in Jan. I got into both. I heard from TC March 11 and did not get in. (I am actually glad for that based on my interview!) GOOD LUCK
nyckate Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I heard from NYU as well - accepted - whew! Have you decided yet? I am struggling! If you dont mind me asking - was there something about TC you didn't like? I heard from NYU on March 28th and Fordham in Jan. I got into both. I heard from TC March 11 and did not get in. (I am actually glad for that based on my interview!) GOOD LUCK
ers Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Ah well... am waiting no more. Was on the Stanford waiting list, got the reject mail today. Sad.
