dillonr1
Hey everyone, I was just wondering if a soon to be high school social studies teacher would be able to get a job at a local community college or regular university teaching intro to history (particularly U.S.). I will have a Masters of Arts in Teaching so a lot of my courses are in education, but will have taken some graduate level history courses. Thanks guys! misterpat
I would think this would be tough, given the amount of people with History degrees who are facing a tough academic job market. But you never know.
rising_star
Will you have at least 18 graduate hours in history?
TMP
Ehh... maybe as an adjunct if you're lucky... PhD is really preferable these days.
